What should i do next??
I have enough money and i have narrowed down the options to either put in my subwoofers (custom box, amp, and the subs i already have) or tint my windows and put a windsheild banner on the front that says "TRANS AM". What should i do? Need some opinions guys/gals.

Personally, I'm not much of a "gotta feel my music" kinda guy, so I'd get the tints but leave off the windshield banner.

My radio isn't stock anymore. I have new 4x6's up front and changed the factory "sub" option speakers to 6x9's in the sail panel with a Kenwood KDC-X811 deck. It sounds pretty good but i want more bass. I was just thinking about getting the windows tinted before so no one sees the subs but where i drive most people respect others cars. I also have an alarm system too. Thanks for the replys, keep em comin.

Get the box and see how much it is to tint just the rear window.
Later on down the road get the sides tinted.

banners are for rycers, steer clear of banners. everyone already knows what kind of car you have, lol. the tint will hide the subs, and if you have a decent stereo already, you can wait a bit to get da bumps.

i was joking about the rycer thing guys. i just personally dont care for them and it happens that around me anyone who has a rycer has a huge *** banner across the windshield of their car. i just figure, everyone already knows what kind of car it is, there are emblems and decals on it already, why add to it? but if thats what you want to do, its your likes and its cool with me. i didnt mean to **** anyone off by that, no offense guys. it was just a joke, were still all friends here.

and the rear isn't tinted yet. I did have 35% on my old hatch, but I broke it when I was installing a 4th gen wing on it. That hatch glass makes a helluva mess.
Here is a pic of my old rear with the tint,
It has metallic flake in it so when it's overcast it looks like mirror tint and when it's sunny, it's just dark,
hey man, i have no pictures of my car to show you, but i've got 20% tint on all the windows and 2 10's in back. my setup's a little different tho, most people put the subs in the well where the spare full size tire could go, but i put mine up on the deck part right behind the passenger seats. i like the sound better than when it's in the well, b/c the sound bounces right off the glass and goes directly forward. it gets distorted imo coming from the deeper part. anyway, they're sitting VERY visibly, so the tint DOES hide it, but not enough, so i've got a cover for them too, and no one respects anyone's crap in my area
anyway, they've been in tehre for about 8 mo's and haven't been stolen (YET, hopefully not ever tho). but i make it a point never to blast them w/in 3 blocks of my apt. the tint doesn't hide them as much as you'd think, cuz people who want to steal them are specifically LOOKING 4 them. i also hvae a gray interior tho, if you have a black one, the tint usually looks much darker. i did tint first though, and i felt much better about it. ask the store or guy ytou're getting the speakers from if they'll hold the sale for you for a week or 2 and get the speakers afterwards.
also who's charging you $185 for tinting? you're getting RIPPED OFF!!!! i paid $150! and i'm in Montgomery County, Md! (richest place in the US almost, lotsa yuppies). it wouldda been $100, but i had to get some removed b4 they could put new tint on. also you gotta get a GOOD person to do it, b/c that back window is too huge on our cars, and REALLY hard to get a good application of tint on in one strip/try. they've GOTTA be professionals, but they're still charging you too much man!

The place that would be doing the tint job is Jet City Deatail shop about a few miles from my house. It is also lifetime warentied. I have actually decided to get some edelbrock headers because my exhaust manifold leak is getting a little louder. Hopefully i will have them in by next month cuz i still have to waite for another paycheck before i could order them from summitracing.com. Thanks for all the replys though! I will try and post some pics when i get it done. Thanks again.
