How much is this car worth?

Its an 86 IrocZ. It's yellow with t-tops. It has a TPI 350. Runs good and all. The body isn't in perfect condition or anything. The passenger side ground effect is broken and theres a dent in the rear quarter. The interior is ok. The arm rest/console is tore a little on the top. Anyway, what should it bring? The guy wants 2500 for it. This is something we are just going to buy, fix a few things and probably sell. So whats it worth? Iroc + Ttops + 350 makes it sound desirable.

Yes. I have an 89 Iroc-Z with T-tops and a 350 (Vin 8). They started making 350’s with T-tops in 87 and stopped in 90 or 91 (I forget).

They only built 50 Irocs in 86 with 350’s

I don't know about Camaro Z's, but in 86 a few T/A's got a "test mule" version of the 350TPI. I believe it had the Vette L98 with the aluminum heads and manifolds which had 245hp, in 87 they went to cast iron manifolds and heads. FYI

yes, some cars were specifically made to go to other countries so they put everything in metric, speedo, odometer, etc.

In america, its measured in miles, mph, etc.

so, here in canada, i would consider 130,000 kms on a car, not to bad.

what would you consider, in miles, not to bad on a car...

yeah thats only 80000 miles on it. They say that your car on average is suppose to have 10-15,000 miles per year, or in km that would be 16-24000 km per year. so thats damn good if your car is an 84.

my camaro was parked for 5 years before i bought it. it had 126,000 kms on it. he put a new engine in while it was parked, with a whole bunch of aftermarket parts on it. i think the block itself had like 2000 kms on it.. something like that. which is still very new.
