when i had my 85 camaro i got the gts headlight blackouts, so when i got my 91 bird it was only natural for me to see what i could get for her.. but, hey! hideaway headlights, so i got these instead.... they just go into the openings on the bumper(see red arrow) .. sorry its a bad angled pic, but my car is apart right now...
i am just wondering how many of you with 91-92 firebird front bumper cover have these ... i havent seen them on another car since i got them...
btw- this is the first time i have posted a pic of my car, yay!

does it just cover the "teardrop" opening completely? never seen that before. doesn't look bad, though. i like how mine looks now, i don't think i'd wanna cover it up.

so now wait a min you don't have the pop up headlights anymore they are right there in your bumper or what?
k, underdave, i used ur car as an example... ok in the first pic you will see a non-formula style bumper with blackouts on the left, stock on the right(now keep in mind this is a "microsoft paint chop" since i do not have photoshop...) ... i know what these look like because they sent them to me first, instead of the "formula" bumper cover blackouts..

ok, i see it better now.
and i agree with 88 that it would look BETTER if the blackouts sat flush against the opening. but i'm curious now as to whether they would look better if they were somehow the same color as the body paint (in your case, red) but were still able to have the lights shine thru when they're on?
