Headliner for Verts
For my 88 IROC vert i have no headliner on the top. I've know the 90-92 verts came with a headliner that covered up the beams that went across the top. Is there anyway to retrofit some sort of covering for earlier models without having to replace the top? Has anyone ever tried it?

I think the '90-'92 'verts have a different convertible frame than the later ones, with a more shallow stack to them, allowing them to put in the head liner. I wondered the same thing about my car, but my friend at the local asc distributer said I couldn't put the head liner in my car without swapping the frame. I'm sure you could make something though, maybe go to a fabric & upholstry shop, pick up some material, and experiment. That's what I plan on doing for mine in a few months, I gotta get the coupe together first!!

I'd always assumed that there was one at some point but you're saying there wasn't?
That's ghey.
There's got to be a way to put one in.

All I can say is that I've owned my 'vert since new, and it never had a headliner in it. I was a little pi$$ed when the newer ones came with it though, oh well!! Thread Starter

87-88 didn't have one
89 was the oddball frame setup
and 90-92 had headliners in em
this guy i know just sold his 88 iroc vert like mine for a 92 25th rs and the top looks so much better in his because of the headliner. I think i'm gonna just take some cloth and run it the length of the top and see how i can attach it sometime over the summer when i get out of school

make that 4 white verts... I don't know how easy that is gonna be, go look at the frames and headliners on the 90-92 verts that might give you an idea....the thing is that bar, right above your head, swings out and you would need to let the fabic move and strech....don't know what to do....I dunno, ...lol.....

what if you were to use different panels of cloth to cover the underside of the top instead of one large piece?
and whats up with being "administrators" isntead of senior members now?
