detail freaks. help me out please...

i've got 2 questions. first off,

my drivers side window, right above the key thers a whole crap load of scratches. it was this way when i bought the car so i'm not sure what did it, how can i fix it? or atleast make it not look so bad? and i just got my car painted 3 months ago so i'm ready to throw on the zaino, i've washed it a alot and now theres lines allover the paint, not scratches but i guess swirl type marks so should i have it buffed before i wax or will the zaino take care of it?

thanks alot

Michael

A mild cutting polish should take care of the scratches above the lock. Over here in the UK it's called T-Cut, but I don't know if you'd have it over there.
