How long do you have to wait to wax?

I took my car to a body shop(not to mention any names~Zips Auto Body ) to get my car worked on from a little accident that I was in. He did the work and it looked good, but about 5 months after he did the work the paint started peeling off of my ground effects. So I took it back to him because there was a warrenty. Then the guy was a real jerk!!! Because he knew that me and my grandpa had painted the car last winter. So he tried blaming the problem with the paint peeling on us. He tried to tell me that we didnt add any adhesive ? But I got to thinking about it and after me and my grandpa painted the car I waited a couple of months and I put a coat of wax on it. Well I THINK that when he went to paint it that he either didnt sand it down and/or didnt clean it good because there was some orange peel in the corner. Well correct me if im wrong but paint wont stick to wax. So thats what I think happened. Plus he tried telling me that the paint he uses is so powerful it ate right through the "sh*t" that we used (exact words) . I then got really pissed off. I told him that he is supposed to be a professional and our paint job looked no different than his. Plus when I got it back from him this time he washed it with a non-scratchless towel and now there is swirl marks all over my car.

Ok i'll get to my question: How long do I have to wait to wax my car since the front has just been painted.
And what do I have to do to get rid of these scratches? Will my Mothers Three Phase wax take them out?
