Tint windows, or get bass first?

Ok, Im kind of stuck here, and just wanted some opinions. My birthday is coming up, and its looking like I can either get my windows tinted, or get a 12" Alpine Type R. I am stuck here, I have bass right now, but its not mine, its borrowed from a friend. I would have to have bass of my own for once, but I really want my windows tinted too. I dont know what to do. Which one would you do first? Thanks.

Tint first to hide the gear that you get later.

Yeah, I'd go with thint first. It would suck if you got audio stuff, and then it got stolen.

wow those were the quickest replies I have ever gotten. Would any of you change your mind if I told you its not a hatchback , its a car with a trunk, so the stereo is hidden?

Well, To start off this year I had my 12s and amp in a minivan and you couldn't see it unless you looked down inside of it or heard me coming...Well then I modified my box and mounted the chrome amp on it and put it ON the hump in the back of the Camaro...3 days driving it to school and I got a little too much attention...So I took it out to wait for my windows to be tinted...As long as its in the trunk, I would say go for Stereo...If anyone can see it and they like what they see...Go for tint!

I still wouldn't change my mind, but thats because I'm not into bass. I don't need to feel my music.

I didnt think I liked bass either; until I got it. Now I don't know how I lived without it! I'd get the sub first if its going to be out of sight.

Do the tint first then get your system. Also dont advertise to everyone what ya got tint can only do so much.So many people I know show everyone and there brother there systems and then they wonder why someone would steal it.........

Depending on whether I turn up the stereo or get on the throttle...People can hear the best of both worlds from me...You dont want bass until you have bass...Then you're hooked!
