Got my CAI installed

Nice little S.O.P. gains are all I have to report for now, though up in the upper RPMs she really pulls. I just need some programming to make it run better once it warms up (colder stat) and to get all over that cam that makes her run rich too...

Made from 3" pipes (wish I would have went 3.5") that I baught from http://www.westcoastbending.com for around $10 each (when ordered in bulk). The pipes are painted black for now, but probably will be powdercoated sometime this summer when I install the AFPR that I made (intake runners/etc all to be coated at once). Here it is for now...

Battery is on the driver's side on the birds (this one at least). I cut the mounting bracket for the vapor canister/stock filter housing to clear, then cut the tray underneath (what would be a battery tray on a Camaro) to run the pipe for the filter to be below. I've got a larger filter to put on there now, but I've got to build a fender support out of strap metal before it will fit... for now it's a 5" S&B filter, but I have a 12" long one to fit in there!
