white stuff

What do you use to get the "white" out between the body pannels. you know what im talkin about, when the wax dries in the crack between body mouldings, it leaves a small white line..how do you guys get rid of that?

i use a toothbrush , a small soft brissle toothbrush or a cue tip , but the toothbrush mothod is the best .Thier cheap so get one and just use it for the wax removal and keep it dry .

So far only one person has answered my question. I didnt ask if you use formula 113, frankly, i dont care. I asked how to get the white stuff out of the cracks. Not to sound like an @ss, but i know its good. However i dont plan to waste almost a full bottle of Mothers that i have, which is a good wax. So once again, any ideas how to get rid of the white stuff, other than a q-tip??

I just wrap my finger in the buffing rag and use my finger nail.

that is a totally valid response by saying that f113 doesn't leave any white residue you won't even have to deal with such a problem

now if you want to get it out i used a toothpick around the body molding and emblems, then i switched to f113 and never worried about it again

Tom, I know exactly what your talking about. Sucks huh?

Using a toothpick has worked pretty well for me in the past. Still a pain to do though.

Oh ya, all the time! I'm usually at Savannas every wednesday in the summer. And on Sundays I go to the local meets (Did you hear about them? Usually held at Starbucks on transit). Also runways is coming back!! Its going to be held at lancaster speedway now. Car show, burnout pit, and also racing too! Gonna be a riot!!!

I've heard of people taking a small paint brush and cutting the bristles shorter.

Joe, where is Savanna's?. I usually try to get out to rookies on transit in lockport if i got the day off. They have shows on tues and thurs. I think closed to classics on thurs, open to all tues. Which starbucks on transit? The one at the corner of french and transit? That parking lot is pretty small? Is it just fbodys? or thirdgens? And you said runways is coming back. Did you mean to runways? or just the event, and its gonna be at lancaster speedway? They still had the events last summer, they were held at the Summit Park mall, and they were actually pretty crappy compared to runways

In very tight crevaces, I fold up a dollar bill and run it through the crack. It is soft and strong enough because currency is actually cotton cloth, not paper.

Savannas is on transit and french (By the starbucks you mentioned). Cant miss it. Usually has good turnouts, and lots of burnouts when people leave

The sunday starbucks meets are wayyyy down transit (Not the one you mentioned). It is unofficial. People just started meeting up there, in a few weeks, over 200 cars showed up. Cops kick us out alot, but it's always real fun. All kind of cars come.

Sorry about the confusion with runways....
