antennea removal

antennea removal

My camaro has a CB antennea in the middle of the hatch and I want it removed.Whats the best way to go about it?

Transmission: 5spd baby, only way to go
Axle/Gears: 3.45
best advice from me is to use a heat gun and a spatula of some sort..

heat the adhesive (sp) with the heat gun and use the spatula or even a flat head screwdriver to get it separated...just make sure that you dont over or under heat ..if you do you will damage the paint

It's not on the paint, its right smack dab in the middle of the glass.Do I still heat it?I'm afraid of shattering it.

yep... go ahead and do the same thing...you should be fine...its really hard to shatter the glass man... gl
