This is the story on it.
It was sitting in my aunts garage since 96 . her husband left it there when he left. She gave it to me last january. The body is in great condition. the only thing is it has the wrong hood. It has one from a 90 iroc tpi. Everything else is original. I have been working on little things on it like draining all fluids ond filters new plugs etc. I got it runing. Runs good.

I think it looks better with that front gfx on it then none at all. Although I would have to say the 91-92 gfx look the best. Either way, you got the car for free so it doesnt matter, lol.

it needs some touchups hear and there but the paint is all original and it came from the californa plant too. Im thinking of puting a whole new exhaust system on it headers and all.
But the reason i put this in the appearance board is What is the best way to fix small paint chips in the bumpers and small scratches? And im thinking of getting a 84 hood for it.

please dont change the nose on it. Our style of car is getting hard to come by because people do that to them. I like your car the way it sets except for the rims, you need some IROCs on there or better yet some black GTAs.

I like the front bumper. It's the only thing that gives the early cars their unique identity. It's so rare to see an 82-84 that isn't thrashed or had a body update that a nice one turns my head a hell of a lot more than yet another 85-90 or 91-2.
An automatic L69 is a pretty rare car too.

I'd keep it as is, but with a RAM AIR II hood. Your front bumper flows really well with that hood.
Also, fix the front GFX. Looks like it got hit on the driverside.
Get some different tires too, they are way too tal IMO.
Change your tires & hood...:hail:

Nice car. I have an 84 z28 also, and was going to change to
the 85-90 nose and gfx. Then I saw some pictures of this car,
and now I want to keep the stock front end, lower it, and put
on some nice polished 17" wheels. I have the wheels, but am
working on getting the parts to lower it. I personally think that
you can make an 84 z28 look just as good as a 91-92 z28, they
just look different.

84 Z28 5.0 HO - Sharp car (especially considering Cleveland climates). I'm about 30 minutes east of Cleveland. My Camaro is due for a full restore.....
If you're displeased with the hood, might I sugest a Turbo Daytona hood? I think it's the perfect compliment to the front nose our '82-'84 Z28s have.
