Getting bored, need ideas....

Ok, well i am haveing a major problem, i am bored with my RS, but since i have an incredibly limited amount of cash, well i can't get another car, headers, or much of anything really that costs more than maybe $70. To top it off i can't do alot of the tbi free mods due to a lack of tools, garage, and time since it is a daily drive and has to go to work 5 days aweek. I don't even have space to jack the damn thing up because the parking lot for my apartment is mostly on a slope and anyplace that isn't the jackass's that live around here take at 30mph or more, not to mention those damned geese. Anything that could be done in a long saturday or maybe saturday and sunday but if it didn't get done could still be driven with, body/ apperance of course, but any engine/trans stuff would be nice.

Unfortuanatly i don't know of anyplace to get em for $50 and i don't have anyplace to put em on since going to a shop will cost more than the headers would. Still, thats a damned luck find.

I don't know how you feel about the A/C but removing it would give you some weight loss and you could buy the ac delete pulley and have less drag on the engine. Easy mod. Hope this helps.

Done did the a/c delete. Kinda had too, the compressor started squealing real bad and it was alot cheaper, and since i don't care for a/c in cars, i removed it and everything else except that big silver canister thing and the condenser (those two will hopefully go this summer). I actually found something within my range that may also fix a problem. TBIChips.com does a mildly tuned chip for $30 that adds base and WOT timing, removes the limiter and can have the VATS turned off so that i (hopefully) never have my no start problem come up again.

I'd say save up til you have some more cash. If you're going for appearance, you could tint it or lower it for pretty cheap.
