help me out please.

I was hoping someone could head me off in right direction. Need to know what to use, or how to go about getting the clear coat of my rims, so I can get them shinning. I have tried going over everything with aluminum polish, it shined but now it has almost hair line cracks, that are kind of yellow in color in spots. If someone would be so kind as to help me out a bit, it would help me out. Thanks.
