Cars look nice, but what are those things on the mirrors of the Trans Am?

Twice as nice!

Nice, although I would have prefered the Purple haze in front.

Damn man, you just convinced me to paint my car the stock color. Its just been sitting for so long and is all ditry, I cant really tell how good Purple Haze used to look. I've noticed that there seem to be 2 different names floating around the the purple used on 3rd gens. One is Hawaiian Orchid Purple, the the other is Purple Haze Metallic. My paint code is 9802, and I've traced it to Hawaiin Orchid Purple. Is Purple Haze the same color, just a different name?

I'm pretty sure it's the same color, just a different name. I too am a huge fan of that color. Very beautiful and well kept car you got there.

Yep. You guys got it right. Those are the goood ole garage parking tennis *****. Not too worried about hitting the front of the garage or anything like that. They let me know when I'm in just far enough to close the garage door for optimal workspace infront of the cars where the workbench is.

MetalliCamaroRS,

Thanks for doin' that for me. I still need more practice with that software.

Scott_92RS,

I am pretty sure that Pruple Haze Metallic and Hawaiian Orchid are the same color. I have heard it refered to as both.

Camarogirl18

That's a negatory camarogirl18....no cb antennas here. Over.

Thanks all for the compliments.

Next mods (dreaming!!!) I saw an LT-5 on ebay the other day. Man would that be nice in the Purple Haze camaro!!!!!!

I guess thats why i have a little brother... hes pretty good at judging how far i got to go till im all the way in. Plus he can slide around the garage a lot faster and a lot easier then i can. very nice cars man! My Z's stable mate is a 6.5hp lawn mower and some pattio stuff... check it out... and yea, i know about the bikes over my car... thoes things are welded in place basicly... they aint comin down.
