Rip off? Think again... theyre damn good prices. Dont believe me? Read on...

Considering the drag radials are $150 a piece plus shipping abour $30, then have them mounted and balanced for $10 a piece, so in reality your only paying less than $50 for the rims, which is a damn good price.

Second, have you bought tires latley? Id like to see you get a 245/50/16 BRAND NAME tire for less that $100 a piece. As a matter of fact, the tires on the package you mentioned, which are Goodyear RS-A's, are $159 a piece, and thats from TireRack.com! They would EASILY be OVER $200 EACH in a retail store. Ok, so lets say you get them from tirerack... @$159 a piece, thats $636. Then add about $40 for shipping, then another $40 to have them mounted and balanced. Now your up to $716, and thats not even including the rims! The rims are worth anywhere from $200 -400.

So in reality, if you take a few short minutes to research things like this, youd find that your saving ALOT of money by ordering the package through SLP.

what i meant was, its a nice deal on the 4 wheel and tire combo, but why isnt the drag radial and wheel combo reduced? i know they say they are over stocked, but atleast it could be less by takin money off the two wheels included in the dr/16x8 package.

i dunno man, these tires are awesome in the rain, i love em, they only suck at the drags. the track, handling, stoping and rain traction is all great in my opinion.

I paid like 600 bucks for my tires at discount tires. :/ Road hugger 245 50R16. But woulnt the tread design and the type of rubber be a big factor in the cost of the tires they put on those rims? For that price I know those arnt Z rated tires.. neither are mine btw... should have been.

what is this about?

"they're a perfect replacement for damaged stock rims and make a great upgrade for V6 cars." <---

for V6 cars? O.o The only think I could think of is if all the V6 cars came with small tires and ugly rims. Did the V8s come with bigger tires stock? My tires were never stock so I have no clue. That has to be it.. or its just gonna drive me nuts trying to find out why they said that lol

Some of the early 4th gen v6 Camaros had plastic hubcaps on regular stamped wheels. The rims for sale also look better than the salad shooters and the ones on early Firebirds. As for v8 cars, Formula v8's and some Trans Ams and all convertibles got 16" rims. WS6 Trans Am's and SS's got 17's.
