Do 3rd gen wheels fit on a fourth gen???

I know you need spacers for 4th gen wheels to fit a thirdgen what what about 3rd gen wheels on a 4th. I want to take off the 17x9 snypers on my 90 RS and put them on my newly aquired 95 Z while the RS sits and waits to be fixed. Will they stick out to far because of the backspacing?

Well I geuss there is only one way to find out. I just wanted to know because since I wrecked the RS I will need a new tire and may have to replace one of those wheels. If they won't work on the new fourth gen than I will hold off and save my cash.

AH crap! Well I thought I would give it a try, but I am sure that 17x9's for a thirdgen will stick out probably 2" since that is the adapter space for 4th gen wheels.
