photoshope help.
sorry to steal your post, but thats what my paint looks like, the white spots not as bad though anyone know a way to make it look better besides new paint? When its wet it looks ok, but when it dries it turns back to that.

only way to fix it is to have it repainted. i have a new hood in the mail, but here's my current hood....no way to get the white spots off, cause they're defects in the paint and are too deep to touch up.

yup, paint looks brand new when it's wet. when it dries it looks terrible up close though. i went around to a couple places, cause i thought it might be waterspots, but they said it was actually minor paint chipping.....doesn't look like chipped paint, but if you have the same thing as me, you should be able to feel it when you rub your fingers over it. i was hoping i could just remove the clearcoat and get a new coat put on, but they said it's all they way down to the paint so the whole thing needs to be redone. post a pic of yours....if your defects aren't as deep as mine were, maybe you can just get a re-clearcoating.
oh well, I am still going to try to buff/compound/wax them out, lol. Dont have any pics of the car. If I dont do it right I dont think it will look much worse than it does now, so Im determined to try. Once again sorry to steal your post, a thanks for the info!!
