Getting the rear end damage fixed and a fresh paint job!
Hey guys,
I got the car in the shop, and I received a Ford Taurus as my loner till it gets back. I went back to talk to him after he wrote his report, the car's value is 3750, and he said that the guy that rear ended me's insurance will cover the damage of what he did (3600, man was it close). But he also said that my current paint job from the previous owner looks like crap, and that it can look alot better if it is redone by him. He then proceded to show me a grand am with a fresh coat of silver on it, and I know that he does good work. The problem is, he says that with materials and labor (plus new window sweeps and windshield strip) will cost 1300. I have enough money to do this, but is it worth it? The car will have a better than factory paint job on it, but would you guys spend the money on a 92 3.1? Let me know what you think, I really want to have it done.

One thing you may can do if the car has bc\cc is to get some one who is good at wet sanding and buffing and get them to wet sand and buff your car this will make a big differance in the way your car looks
