Window Question????

Okay yesturday as i was replacing that rubber trim piece on the outside of the window, i broke off that corner triangular piece. i epoxied it back on but what is it called so i can look in yearone and places for it?

go to the gm dealer and have them look it up first. then go see if you can find it on year one if its not too expensive at the dealer.

That part is on ebay all the time too. Did you just break off this part http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2418050908 or the whole big triangle? The rubber part comes off, the plastic part bolts in in a few places. Maybe check and make sure all the screws are there. if not http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2418134122

cool thanx Zepher. are they for power windows or manule the ones u said ur goin to replace? becuz i have on here that is off of an 86 sport coupe with manule windows and they are different. i thought i could just use the plastic piece but the whole assymbly is different.

and yes i was lucky enuff to brake the big triangle off and the damn epoxy let go today and i had to re epoxy it

My friend told me that when he replaced one of his on his Camaro, it was $97 each at the dealer. That is kind of outrageous for a piece of plastic.
