If you want them get em! I love the GTA GFX (well any F-Body with GFX for that matter). I think it really makes the car look good.

it's kinda a decision that you have to make on your own. there's gonna be a lot of people with opinions like mine that will tell you that f-bodys look better with ground effects.

at the same time, theres gonne be a lot of "stock ****"s and people who just like the look of a formula without gfx, and they'll tell you you're nuts to be thinking about it. its a tough choice to make, but i know which way i'd go.

when i begin to show my car, the CUSTOM aspect is what i'd be showing off. so in that field, no, it wouldn't take off points.

however, you're not likely to win a prize for a stock car if you've made body modifications to it. it just depends on how you want your car to be seen, i suppose. but it'd be better if someone else fielded this question -- i've not shown my car.

any takers?

I've always thought that the Formy looked better than the TA. Not that the TA is bad, I think it looks awesome too, but the Formula is just bad a$$. My vote is NO GFX, but don't leave 'em off because of points, or anyone elses opinion, do what YOU want.

Well neither of you are that far from me either. It's about 2.5 hours from here to Charlotte... 3 to Greensboro I think. Lock is real close to you too and there are a few guys here at VT. If you guys ever decide to get together and have a few cold ones just let me know. I say do what you want to your car. I love the formula look, but it is your car after all.

Later,
Harry
