Neon-Light R*ced Out Mod - My First! =D

Well, I finally got around to installing the nens under hood...I had to splice the wire to accomodate the bass sensor, but other then that, it went really well. I have the open Formula/Power Bulge hood, and mounted the light inside, just so the light bar itself is out of view, but the glow isn't...I'm happy with the results, but the pics don't do it justice. I may put both inside the hood, (they came as a pair) as the one on the inside seems kind of incomplete by itself....we'll see. Anyways, love 'em or hate 'em, it's done! Comments, of course, my public....lemme have it!

btw, this is a shot from INSIDE the car

Not yet, I have to grab some shots in the daytime, in I need to insulate the ****ty thin wiring they gave me so it doesn't melt. lol, but after 1 hour of driving, they're fine...I'll get the pics asap.

i like it. i've always liked neons inside hood vents, i don't know why. it just brings more attention to the hood and makes it look better at night.

Just curious, but how could that be anything but distracting?

The lights have a control on them for you to adjust the brightness/intensity of tehm. They're turned up there in the pic for effect, but don't have to be so intense.

disclaimer: having visible blue light on the outside of your vehicle is illegal is most states and is considered "impersonation of a police officer"

and while some states allow "glow" but not visible neon tubes , either way cops will notice and most likely find the smallest reason to harass you.

I suppose it looks ok , but around here (MA / NH) your *** would be in jail before you got on the nearest highway , lol.
