what is that stuff? does it come off?

u no in the engine bay around the wheel well and that there is all this black $hit on it covering the paint like 2" thick. what is that and could it come off???

if its on the underside of your car and in the wheel wells that paint is there to protect your frame and metal parts from the salty snow and road debrie.

Can it come off? Anything can come off. Doing so will exspose your underside to rust.

if you are talking about the stuff in the engine compartment its just grease and grime... a lot of it! Get some easy off oven cleaner or some gunk engine cleaner and a fairly firm brush and you will get it off with some work!

Carb Cleaner works well too..I suggest Berryman
