Paint Idea

The idea is Mercedes black with 'Vette blue stripe and lettering. The hood and gap in the stripe say 420 (by the time I do this I hope to have a small block 420), the badge behind the wheel says SS in the same script as stock RS, all lights are blackouts except front parking lights, shaved bumpstrip, handles, and antenna, and a 4" cowl hood.

Here's a photoshop

What's a good place that allows remote linking and is free?

cardomain.com the only downfall is the logo they put on the pic but oh well.

I like it except the front, needs to start off different. Post it along with a pic of you car in the photoshop request sticky and get someone to make it for you in photoshop.

LOL,

what I ment was the flame needs to start off differently I don't know how but it needs a feature of the car to start off from like the fender well or something It tends to put too much focus on the side marker light., SS stripes look great. I say go for it though, it would look better in real life anyways

I don't know what to vote I like the idea, but I like that you called your self an ***-Hat, neverheard that one!:sillylol: LOL. I think teal with silver 69 ss/flames stripe would be cool, or orange with a black stripe/flame. I dunno, but it's definatly a cool idea. What about an Aric White with a blue stripe flame, or even cooler I think that Sebring Silver with just about any color stripe would be cool.

Hmm..

I've never been a big fan of flames on car except those built in the 30's, 40's and 50's.

Flames are 'old-school' in my book and should be left to classic hot-rods, IMO.

No flame, just my opinion (which you were asking for).

Looks sweet actually it looks f|_|cking awesome.... but the 420 is a tad misleading.

Btw, did you draw that with crayon?

Looks very sweet man, I'm liking it a lot...I do agree that the "420" would give most people the wrong idea ...

By the way, Electron blue is an awesome color...I'm gonna get my flames in that color (probably), but in a traditional fashion with more detail:rockon:

I always like those stripes, and the added flames add that much more to it.

I drew the picture on a table that isn't smooth by any means so the texture came through to the picture.

If everything works out, by the time I get this paint job I'll have a small block 420.

I changed things so it makes a little more sense and is easier to find the picture, please let me know what you think.

Sweet. Do it quick before some other ***-hat (hehe, funny word) steals your idea! Keep that sweet blue on black, but make the flames a bit more detailed, and make it more straight like the 69 stripe until the fender vent, then make it look like the flames are comin out of that. Again, sweet idea!

Oh, and just put the 440 on the fender, not the hood.
