I say the hot rods. I like the grooves by the lug nuts. The budnik looks too plain when next to the hot rods. Might just be the pics though.

look what happens in not so bright light that you can't see on many rim websites......

personally i don't like the way this looks. do you? to keep file size down i made it smaller but focus on the center of the rim up front. it has a definate prominate star. i just don't think it would look right on the camaro.

I know you didn't ask for suggestions just opions, but i thought i would through my 2cents out there. Since you like the 5 star look I say check into some of these

Timeless 2's

Bonspeeds

the last one's i was going to buy because i have a set on my truck and they custom make every set of wheels. after you got them you could get some grooves machined down the spokes and paint the grooves and the star surounds your Kandy color and they might resemble the 91-92 Z28 wheels. Kinda of. however if money is no object. I say go whith some HRE's, Or Iforged wheels. I want these real bad in 19's

Hre's

Oh Yea almost forgot i really love your car. It is so nicely done :hail: :hail:

the bonspeed didn't work.

i won't get hre's on principle in that they are made by another company and then put their name on them charging twice what they use to be. haven't looked to much into iforged but i will check them out too.

EDIT: Sorry, I know you're asking for an opinion between the two, but I'm not too hot on either of them; I really like the ones you posted before (Rodder wheels). But between those 2 I'd say the Boyds.

HRE 542

HRE 541 - I like this one because it's got a Z06 vibe to it. I know you just yanked yours off so maybe you won't like this one.

i like the hre's, iforged, etc. but 3,500+ on rims alone is not worth it to me no matter how good they look. now you could get them in 16's with no options and they would cost the same as most other wheels but what's the point. at over 1,000 a wheel for the 541, 545, aero, etc. styles i'm thinking of passing.

now if you go through the back door and hit up the maker of those wheels you can get the 2 piece versions for considerably less which is possible but still expensive.

Graboid, could you please get a detailed up close picture of the wheel. i would like to see how pronounced the star shape is in the center like the above picture i posted.

i talked with bob over at boyd and he said he could custom make me a set of hot rods without the star shaped center so now i'm seriously considering them again.

i'd appreciate the help!
