swiss ragtop, toy look is gone
Beautiful, there's only 1 convertable 'Maro that I've seen and liked, and it's yours. The wheels and the stance all give it a great look that works with the top. Great job!

Your car looks awesome in all the pictures I've seen of it. The pictures always look like they could have been right out of a magazine.

And i thought my car was low lol. I assume that's a custom drop? Awsome wheels and a great looking car. I'm not liking the red interior, but that's just because i don't like red intierors hehe. :hail:

custom drop
3gc,
Yes, it is what some call a "custom drop", others might just say it is an act of ******* botch-up. Anyway, the drop was achieved with intrax 2inch lowering springs, which are the lowest ones you can get (at least i think so). That, of course, is still not low enough, since the third gen's have a fender gap like most offroad vehicles. It forced me to cut them to size, means half a coil in front and a full coil on the back. The result is a hard an rough ride, so i don't recommend this kind of modification to a faint hearted wimp who is afraid of potholes and speedbumbs. And you NEED koni adjustable shocks along with all the aftermarket stiffness you can throw at your 'vert (sfc's, wonderbar, stb)

I have the intrax also. Your a brave soul for cutting them further, untouched it's a harsh ride and my air dam hits everything, even when i'm just braking. I have KYB GR-2 shocks and struts, maybe i should change to the koni adjustables. How is the handling?

Don't listen to him. Looks great the way it is.
25thrss;
no, that's exactly what i will never do, changing the grill and adding the goofy foglights. Looks perfect for me the way it is.
Grimaldo:
Absolutely no rubbing issues in front, as long as you go with 8inch rims. if you have some crazy 9.5 inch rim, forget it.
In the back there is some rupping on top of the inside fender, where the 'vert top compartement is. But if you do not have a ragtop, you should be fine

Leave the grill!!
It makes the cars look more muscular.
I'll never change the grill on my car because it fits so well with the body and doesn't stand out like aftermarket ones.
Only vert I've liked (and yes I've seen others)

but on the black ones it looks badass...
engine is bone stock. And that's how it will be. No temptation to race around with this powerplant. If i had a powerful engine, i would have to change the crazy suspension setup, and that means more fendergap. And i 'd rather have a mere 172 hp than a 3 inch fendergap. If you buy a car and want to make something better out of it, you have to choose a direction. And i headed towards "All looks".
The pics above are the best out of a 72 pictures session. I don't know why, but i made only 1 shot of the back, and it's not a very good one. Maybe because the back of it is the weakest view of a thirdgen camaro....? I will try to make better pics of the back next week

I got my clear side markers from lightlense.com I paid around 50-60 bucks for 'em. I know now that I could've gotten them for cheaper on ebay. Anyways, hope this helps.

Thats one sweet Vert
