Tips for a newbie.
Well First off I will like to say hi to everyone and that I think this furom has to be one of the greatest I ever seen
and im happy I can be a member.
Well let me see I own a 85 red Camaro and after seeing all the threads i've seen here it's pretty weak compared to all of yours but it's all I got(till now) anyways I need advice see the car has great paint on the car but the wheels are just awful! I mean you can see that they've been painted multiple times and there is light rust. There the original Camaro wheels(I wish I had some iroc rims.) I never painted some rims b4 so I don't know how good they can end up but is it possible to paint them like mettalic silver or some kind of chrome and look like these???

If not I would like to try Red to match the car and putting some silver like chrome hubcap store bought you know the ones that just go for around the outer side but dont cover the center??
Guys your advice will be much appreciated.

If the rims you have are aluminum then you can polish them. If not, why not get them chromed?

Around 100-300 Dollars a rim usually.
And you could get Iroc rim's cheaper than that.
So your best bet is to sand them up real nice, prime them, then paint them with w/e color you wish. Don't forget to mask what you don't want painted

Good luck hoss.
