would it be a crime too...

change my car over to 91-92 style ground effects or leave the iroc ground effects on it. i was thinkin the SS style hood, the high rise spoiler with the center posts removed and maybe shortend a little, the iroc or 91/92 gfx and Zr1 wheels? not sure, keep bouncin aroun like a ping pong ball. so heres a pic of what my car looks like, u guys give me some ideas! and yesh i used the search option yadda yadda yadda.

i get the feelin that i should leave the ground effects alone and get the 88-90 wheels and polish them. and use the stock iroc-z hood

I really love the way your car looks right now, as I like the 85-87 style. But ultimately its your decision.

The only thing I would do IF I were you would be some tint.

I had the same idea about a month ago, but then I realized..there aren't to many blue IROC's in good shape riding around, so I mine as well keep what I have in its orginal state, although it is up to you, I would keep it IROC looking on the Outside. What I plan to do later down the road is pick up a nice 91-92 Z28 that way I can have both

yeah i think keeping it stock is a good idea, since its gonna be painted soon, body work is bein done right now, i think itd be best to make it look like it rolled off the showroom floor. it has the 85-87 style wheels on it, that i polished but its an 89, id liek to get the 88-90 style wheels and polish them. tint would be nice. the car is lowered with eibach sport line springs, but it doesnt look like it sits on the ground, they sit perfect i think.

Looks great either way. 91-92 Camaro GFX are the best looking ever so I say go for it if you like them.

Unless the paint doesn't match. Then it would turn that beautiful piece of machinery into a lesser-missmatched almost-awesome car. Leave it as it is, it looks great the way it is.

i think im gonna leave the car the way it is, except for getting 88-90 style iroc wheels and polish them. the whole car will be painted in the fall and it should look pretty close to perfect. new stripes and decals that will be straight and in the right spots. i want to have this 3M guy put this thin plastic protective covers on the nose, mirrors and lower half of the 1/4 panels, its clear so its hard to notice but it protects the paint from chips, bugs and tar. as for tips i plan on getting a hooker exhaust and id like to use 93-97 Z28 style polished stainless tips. the only thing i had in mind to do differnt is take the louvers off, and paint that area black to match the headlight buckets.

I would switch the rims like you and thats it. Keep the same color. Its a good looking car. No spoiler. Its kinda a rare car with a 305 TPI matched up with a 5sp stock. Plus i love the blue ext. and gray int. combo. Thats just my 02

well if you want to do something cool, i think add a 5 inch spoiler , and make the vents in the hood functional, i think the car looks great . Maybe if you got daring you could do the fender vents.

I'd suggest a 91/92 Hood and no stripes or side molding perhaps. Otherwise a high-rise spoiler with an SS hood would look good. If you go to later model GFX I'd suggest removing the "IROC" from the door. It's gotta be one or the other

imho, when someone puts 91/92 gfx on an iroc, it looks like someone is just putting iroc decals on a 91/2 rs, or a z28 of those years..... if it were me, i'd leave it the way it is..... but it is your car, and you decide what you're gonna do with it

My Idea of an Ideal camaro, as far as looks is:

Z28 tags, 91-92 ground effects, SS hood, ZR-1 style rims or Z06 style rims (some others look great too, Kandied's rims come to mind) no lower stripes, tasteful hood and deck stripes are alright, fender vents are ok, if done tastefully. I prefer the stock IROC style spoiler, perhaps with the middle light shaved.
