Intake base polishing (TPI) - any ideas?

I recently bought a complete TPI setup for $100 and I have decided to polish the entire thing. Every side on the plenum, the runners and their flanges, and even the base.

I have alot of experience with polishing, just not with some of this equiptment I'm going to buy from Eastwood Company. I'll be fine on the plenum and runners, but this base looks pretty intimidating.

I'm going to be buying their Intake manifold polishing kit, their bench grinder/polisher, lots of their circular buffing pads (sisal, canton, loose, etc), tapered buffing pads, Greaseless compounds (80 grit, 120, 220, and 320). Also going to buy alot of tapered sanding drums, and I already have Emery compound, Tripoli, and White rouge for my buffing and polishing.

Am I on the right track here?? Anybody want to give me some pointers? I'd like the end result to look close to this -
