Why did I sell it? I couldn't do want I wanted to do with that car. I bought it to take place of my '88, it was to get the 357/AFR/SR/Yank powertrain. I really wanted just one car that looked great and was pretty fast.
Well after I got it, I quickly realized that it was just too nice to hack up, couldn't bring myself to puting in a more finicky engine and such. So I kept both for a while.
Decided I really wanted a stick.......in the '92, but again couldn't do it, also wantedo Procharge it. I was afraid after modding it it may have, you know those little quirks that seem to always come with heavy mods.
So I went 4th gen, got my stick, got my nice car, got my fast car, got no quirks (as of yet). I'm just as happy in the LS1 4th gens as the 3rd gens, but it does lack that "something special" feel that the '92 had.
Sorry Joe, the '88 doesn't have it
