With or Without?

I'm trying to decide whether I should leave the front blackouts on or take them off. Police and inspection people are telling me there illegal.....DUH, I new that to begin with, but I finally got warned so I'm rethinking how my car should look. I really like how it looks without the blackouts, what do you think?

You car looks badass either way.

So why not take one black out off, and leave the other on:lala:

Heh, no man, you got the whole black thing going, so leave them on.

But if the time comes, even if you NEED to take them off. Your ride is still sweet

Don't take this the wrong way....

If you has some really nice, new headlights there, i would leave them off, but if it's nothing special, then leave the blackouts on, gives it a cleaner look....

Normally I would say just leave em off, but there's something about your car that makes it look awesome with them on... and with your paint being screwed in that pocket, I say leave em on.

I was thinking about getting some of those and was just wondering how you install them. Do they screw on or snap in?

The front uses clips that have double sided 3M tape, and the rears use some sort of velcrow. I say some sort because I had to take them off to get my inspection sticker, and both sides of the velcrow are hard, (not soft on one side, and hard on the other).

Thanks for all the comments about my car. It's always nice to know when work is appreciated. Another problem about those front blackouts is I can't see some roads at night. If there's no street lights, I can't see the the roads, even with my brights on;

by law, it says that you have to be able to see the red reflectors from a certain distance away and you can't through the blackouts. I can't imagine anybody other than some kind of robocop caring, but in some places, this law is enforced.

just leave 'em off. it's safer, no risk of one flying off, no problems with cops, and IMO it looks better.

Well, after looking over my baby at certain angles, and parked in different places, I've decided that it looks better without the blackouts, but I'm going to need your help telling me how to fix this:

Thanks for your opinions

Sweet. I personally hate blackouts. I think your car looks MUCH better without them.

I vote to leave them off. But only because they fly off at higher speeds. I dont like the idea of things flying off my car while I drive around.
