The paint is the factory shade of Gunmetal, and as much money as I have in it, it's done for a good while

Here's a before pic last summer when I bought it for 2200. The car was bone stock with 70k on the odometer. The down side is it had never been taken car of and the owner didn't even know what wax was

Very nice, love the color also. I find it hard to believe that you're done though. You'll find something else you want to do I'm sure. I always said that the day my car was finished was the day I sold it or it got wrecked.

The car looks outstanding! I especially like the steering wheel. Is it a Lecarra or a Grant?

 

Love the looks of it! Very well done. I'm in a similar boat now with my '86 that's in the middle of paint prep (one or two panels per weekend). Hopefully, it turns out as well as yours.

 

The wheel is a leather grant signature. I still don't like that it looks a little cheap (its not though )

 

what looks cheap about it? I always thought they had a very clean, classy look. Is the leather good quality?

 

Beautiful car, but I always thought owning a 3rd gen was like owning a house...it;s never 100% done....lol.

 

The leather is actually really good quality. I like how the wheel looks it just looks a little out of place IMHO. Its the only polished thing in the interior. I have no intention of removing it though

100 percent done, I was going to trash you about the overflow tank, but you replaced that too. Very nice TA very nice detail, good work.
