bikini notchback

O.K. I know this is out there but what do you think about removing your big glass hatchback in the the spring and spending the summer cruising around with a snap or zip on notchback looking bikini. kind of like what goes on the old blazers / broncos. I know I've seen them on other things. of corse you would have it off on the nice days!

Help me out photoshop people!

ouch! Well your probably right. I like the notchbacks and would the car look bad with nothing there cruising around the beaches? I'm not planing on doing it, just a fun concept.

you would probably have to go completely spoilerless though. if you went around with this thing on the back and had the two side pieces of the spoiler still on the car, it would look exceptionally dumb. spoilerless cars are cool in certain colors....like a black california iroc. those are baaaad!

Yeah, i think the cover thing would look like you were trying to copy a Suzuki Samuri. It would look better of you just took the hatch off all together and didn;t put a cover onh. Throw a couple been bags back there and take your buddies crusin'.

minus that whole uneven floorboard back there. it might make it difficult. anyhow, do what you want, my car is getting a 10pt roll cage in a few weeks and so, there won't be any room back there.

I couldn't imagine the pain in the afterside that it would be to pull the stock hatch for something like that. I think it would look good though.
