Notchback, just want some opinions . . .
I emailed GTAuto Accessories about the notchback a few days ago and never received a reply. I'm thinking about getting a notchback for my 91' Firebird. I also want the back glass to be removable. I don't care how much it costs either. I'm really considering this but I have never seen pictures of a notchback except on 90 and earlier cars. So, I think I'm gonna try it. I just wanted to get a "yay" or "nay" as far as what you guys think.

Sounds good man. I like the way they look. I don't think I would spend money to put one on my car though. I would rather put the money towards a Ram Air hood. But I am sure your car will look good with it. Post pics if you do it man! Good luck.

I'd go for it man. I like the Notchback, and I think it would look really good on a 91-92 Bird. Let us know when you get it done, Id like to see pics

I am curious? Does the rear glass roll down like on a jeep or broncho etc?? If it did that would be so sweet. I wonder if we could get this option from GTAuto Accessories?? I would gladdy pay the extra for that option. I'd be sweet man!

Well, this is what I had in mind as far as exterior and body is concerned: arctic white with blue ghost flames, the ram air II hood (still waiting to see a picture on a 91 or 92 bird), and the notchback. The back seats are gone and will be replaced with a custom built rack to hold the t-tops and the back glass. I also plan on shaving the door handles but am not definitely set on it. I am clueless about rims though, lol. I can guarantee that all of these dreams of mine will come true, I just don't know how long it will take. I'm thinking about 8 years or so because of college. The exterior will come later, much later, but it's never too early to start exploring ideas.
And don't worry, I will have lots and lots of photos to document this. It starts as a 91 Firebird in very good shape with t-tops and a v-6. It will eventually be my dream car. 383 Dual TBI (polished setup of course ), baer brakes, moser 12 bolt or 9" rear, awesome suspension (everything powdercoated and the car undercoated with POR-15). I have a vision of what I want my car to be. And when it is done you will all know what I'm talking about.

After careful consideration, I think I might go with the ram air hood from ASCD instead. It looks more kick *** everytime I see it.

I have seen the ASCD hood and the US-Body hood in person... and I think the ASCD hood looks 1000 times better.
About the notchback, I wouldn't do it, but I never liked the way they looked. I've seen a aftermarket Notchback on a Camaro.... uggg.
The removable glass would be cool, I also like your idea on paint

I like the notchbacks. I've never seen one on a Camaro but I think it would look pretty good. I saw a photoshopped one a while back on a black Camaro, looked nice.

The more I think about it the more I need to see a picture of a notchback on a 91 or 92 bird, lol. Where are the photoshop masters when you need 'em?

I might order the GT Auto accessories notchback, but I want to see it on a car first, and I only want it if the aero spoiler will fit on it. I dont like the factory notchback, but the GT Auto one is different, it looks alot like the back of late 70's vettes. I think it would look sweet with the 85-90 aero spoiler and ground effects.
