My motor confessions.

I'm going to start out by saying i am doing this so everyone will stop flaming me and i can post without everyone turning into a flame war then getting closed. My motor is a 2.8L V-6. not a 350 tpi turbo. however it was turbocharged. I apologize for all the "troubles" i caused everyone that went out of their way to bs me. So heres the specs on the motor.
173ci 2.8L V-6
custom cai
crane cam
dynomax exhaust
Msd ignition stuff, module coil etc.
pistons/rods
valves
tons of other stuff the whole nine yards

The motor was turbocharged last year until i was dumb enough to be beating on it without a blow off valve which caused the shaft to take a dump on me. I got the money back from the shop that did all the work telling them it did have a bov when it blew up and i used that cash to get the paint, seats and all the appearance stuff i did to it this summer. AS for the camaro motor those were pics taken of my late friend brads camaro at the hs drags just 4 days before his dad was killed in an accident while driving it i will try to post a few pics of the entire car when i figure out this hard drive crap it was a clean car ashamed he wasnt alive long enough to post here.I went out to take pics of the v-6 tonight but i only have like 1.5mb left on the c drive and the pics took up 3kb the download software wouldnt even load. I have a few hard pics of the turbo six when i had it done i'm going to try to talk the comp. Teacher at school into letting me scan those so i can prove it was a turbo motor. The only reason i said it was a 350 was because i had never heard of anyone doing a turbo install on a 350 tpi. I have to be differnt from everyone else in the ways i build things. Thats why me and my dad have built some of the sweetes cars in our garage is because i have to be different. I apologize for bsing everyone over the time i've been here. My only regrets about it were not just getting the turbo fixed. I went to a dyno day back when the turbo was runnign and i put down 293 at the wheels with a little over 300ft/lbs of torque. I havent dynoed it since but i expect its somewhere in the mid 200's because i've since done the cam and cai. I'm going to try to clear some drive space and get pics up. You have to remeber i'm 17 years old and have put 7k into this car over the last 2.5 years. all the kids at school think its a 350 because they're "car guys" i use that loosely! and are all that sounds like an 8 so i was like ok whatever and ran with it.

As for the show stuff on my other post that was locked due to flaming i took 300 dollars worth of certificates that was for the sound system, interior, and the late model muscle plus they gave out a 20$ certificate to the liquor store for participating. My dad took the plaque to work to show it off he's a lead mech. at united airlines and some of the other mechs. have real nice stuff i think he's going through the i have 1 son that loves this stuff like i did and is being a proud dad right now. I tried calling him to bring it home but theres been no answer. Again i apologize about the bsing and the length of this post but i hope this means we can all get along again and stop having my posts getting locked. Mods i didnt know where to put this but all the guys really asking about it were in this forum so move it if you have to. thanks
