wheel spacers?
i got a set of used iroc wheels cheap and want to put the, on my 87 v6 camaro but all four are rears. i was under the impression i would be able to do this on a drum rear car but apparently not.
does anyone know where i can get cheap 1/2" wheel spacers and studs for the front that are 1/2" longer than stock?

You need all 4 fronts--4 front wheels will work on any thirdgen. To do it right, you need to get a set of adapters. The adapter bolts to the hub, and the wheel bolts to the adapter. It's the only way to do is safely, IMO. However, cost wise, it may be cheaper to just get a set of fronts.

rear irocs may or may not rub on the front of the car. And if they do, you can most likely get away with slip-fit type spacers that are a little under 1/4" thick.
I've seen cars where 16" rear rims did not rub on the front without a spacer, and i've seen cars where it did. Either way, it's gonna be close, but the tiniest bit of clearance with a slip fit spacer should do the job.
btw, i do not recommend using slip fit spacers that are 1/4" thick or thicker. And even with less than 1/4" make sure you are getting a LOT of thread from the studs into the lugnuts. Also, i do not believe they would be nhra legal either. just fyi.
and for the record, 4 fronts definitely look the best
