emblems.. wtf?

went to the junkyard monday, and got some emblems :lala:

it was from an IROC-Z.
i noticed the outside emblem on the skirt said "IROC-Z"
i get home, and my iroc-z says Z28

my question is, what year did this change??

oh, and are there IROCs that arn't Z28s?

year that changed? 88 started IROC emblems, IIRC. all irocs are z28's since that IROC was a special package that was only advalible on a z28

Yeppirs, 85-87 IROC-Z's had "Z28" fender tags, and 88-90 IROC-Z's had "IROCZ" fender tags.

From 88-90 all Z28's were known as IROC-Z's, and they were labeled as such. HTH!
