if the road guys use the paint i used this summer on a church parking lot, meguiars gold wax cleaner polish might take it off. it took it of my front fender when i drove through my nicely painted church parking spots. i have heard about using very little gas and quickly washing and rinse it so the gas doesnt stay on. i dont know if you are leary to that idea. i guess it depends on how good the paint is now. is it a new paint job or still factory?

Its factory, but it's still gorgeous. The car has only 58k on it and its been in garages, i think in AC and heat before i got it..

Try some good old laquor thinner in an inconspicuous spot. If the paint fades or discolors, dont use it anymore. If that happens, wet or color sanding might be the best bet.

Use some clay magic.. My old man had a 95 T-bird a few years ago and the same thing happened to him. After a month or so of it being on there I couldn't stand it. So I tried the clay and took it right off.

I'm sure if ya keep your car waxed/polished it wont be that much of a big deal.
