Quick6: it was a good 1. i should have won it damn it. we both were dialed in at 12.00. i got the jump and had him stil by the 60. but since i didnt have a bottle heater, my bottle pressure was really high.. then really low, so in 2nd gear i had almsot no pressure, so he gained a 1/2 car on me.. and then at the top of 2nd the nitrous "turned on" again, and i almost caught up to him.. but that run is wher emy 12.3@126 mph came into play .. but not that t/a runs mid 10's thanks to a 422 sbc :hail: :hail: :hail:

Yup...if you remember my car was SLLLOOOOW. I fixed it. Damn intake gasket was cracked, timing was out of whack, carb was out of tune and I had a ton of camping crap with me. Still managed a 3.0 second 60' time because I spun so bad.

I wish I would have made it to the track with the problems fixed and the new cam in. Much better now. Still 0 traction. I gotta get my slp posi and 3.73s in!

Here are two of mine sorry there so dark. I figured the flash + track lights would make it come out better. Yes that is a mustang he ran very slow for a 4.6liter.

That's the first thing I noticed too, but every track has the ultimate say in governing rules. Just plain stupid IMO.

 

also look at the first pic, the people are hangin on the wall. in the second pic there far back, hmmm

 

man, that's dangerous. seen to many people get hurt to even go there, know what i mean fellas?

 

Maybe it was an event that the track rented itself out out for a day to an outside entity, our track does that every year for Harleys & Hot Rods, the track has a waiver that exludes them from any liablilty what so ever since the H&H group is responsible for getting insurance, EMT's, concessions, etc... for that day. You can only imagine the kinda of stuff seen at an event like that, I seen one guy last year too drunk to hold his hog up and tipped over in staging, then they were nice enough to tell people over the PA if you want ro run down the track, please refrain from drinking alcoholic beverages, shortly after that happened. Some crazy chit I tell ya

or maybe that track has some rule if u run slower then XX, then it doesnt matter. cuase i know here in az, if u runn slower then 13.99 *i beleive its 13.99* u can have a passenger.

 

Forcast was for 80 degrees. Some dude had a thermometer that hit around 100 with the asphalt heat... it was sick for Nov 2 .

 

If was 85 degrees here today. Craziness. Still no tracks

I was hoping to get my posi and 3.73s in and hit the track this season but it will have to wait
