Very nice and very shiny!! I like how you used a TPI airbox for the V6, looks good.
I wouldn't really change anything visually if it was my car

looks good, a suggestion, with that hood, some ground effects and a v8 drive line would do wonders.

keep it without groundfx. i think that it would make it a great sleeper with the upcoming v8 swap.

Looks good, i second about what everyone else has said lower, ground effects, nose, and definately a v8! As for the car domain site, maybee a pic of the girl drivin the maro!hot rod chicks rock. Nw you cars lookin nice to I really like your racing interior, out of curiousity if you were swappin why didnt you go with a bigger v8? I got a friend in WR that drives a white 68 stang (when it runs). You should come to the fbody gathering next year, i dont remember seein ya there.

Yeap ground scraping is def an issue, which is why I havent lowered mine yet (well that and the fact that im broke =\). I think were talking about the same thing cause i believe I saw your car there? Near redraifs maybee? f body nationals also called the gathering, its in marietta every year, weekend before labor day at I belive the marriot. I was, there my car wasn't in it cause I had my sisters grad that same weekend, but i drove through once. Theres also a few other fbody things that have been goin on in ga that someone on the boards has been emailin me about, I cant remember his name or email off hand but if you wanna pm me im sure I can find it so hell put you on his list!

grngryoutmyway: i think that you were talking to me, right? well, the reason i didn't go with a bigger v8 is mainly to make people like you ask those questions. i have a video of my car, starting it and all with open headers, it will scare the crap outta you how loud it is. and it's only a 310! too bad i don't know how to get it on the internet. anyhow, the interior turned out really well. i am thoroughly pleased. i wish i coulda put the rest of my roll cage in though. (long story, basically the main hoop around the top interfered with the t-tops and i will have to have some pipes bent.) when is the gathering. i would love to go. unfortunatly, i have never been before. do you know anything about the f-body gathering at the tanger outlet south of atlanta, you know, like when and how often and such? anyhow, yeah, i am having a great time with my car. still lots to do though!

The f body gathering in ga the weekend before labor day every year I believe. Its up in marietta, probably about an hour and a half from you. I think I saw a post on the regional boards about the gathering at Tangers, I think it just happens whenever they decide, not really sure. If you post on there im sure someone would know. Someone had started a list of fellow third genners in ga, and was emailing whenever there was something going on, cant remember his email but im on it so im sure its in my box somewhere. How much did you spend putting your engine together?

well, i spent like um, i don't know, probably 2 grand. the cam was my dad's from another buildup, so that was free. i spend the most on machine work. the rods are 4340 forged ohio crankshaft rods. they are basically scat rods with another name on it. i put a set of 9.5:1 comp hyper pistons in it with moly rings. the cam specs are .442"i/.465"e, 214*/224*duration. i am running crane chromoly pushrods, crane energizer aluminum roller rockers, 1.5:1 ratio. holley 600 dual feed vs fourbbl. lots of other goodies. i probably have 10grand in the whole car including buying the car. it's alot of money for a small motor that gets wtf looks, lol! but i like it the way it is and i hope that my d1SC and the holley stealth ram don't take too long to aquire.

(BTW,i think i already have my mind made up about the 2.8 to 350 swap)
ok, your wanting a 350 too?
everyone around me here in florida are like.. "getting a 350" "dood, i just got 350 heads for my 350" "man.. i need heads for my 350 that i might get, my friend took the heads" ya... talking about two guys mainly that i know. rofl.
And i'm here with my little 305.. Maybe when i'm rich and have a million dollars i'll get that BB 632, blown, that i want. :-P (ohh the dreams)
Nice car, and i vote on interior next.. less your comfee with yours now.
Or.. engine.. Whichever money allows & will prove to be the more fun (i don't like doing things less they are fun to do/change out/mess with).
But anyways, nice car, good job.

camarogirl, please don't add gfx to that car! i say lower it alittle, give it a mean stance and all, but don't put gfx on it. when you do your 350 swap, no one will not what hit em.

thanks guys...well first off,not to sound b****y but the whole "you need to drop a 350 in there" thing is getting REALLY old cuz every where i go around here everyone says that
...i think i have my mind made up about the whole situation about the 350 swap...i think im just gonna buy a 350 camaro in nice shape & fix it up & keep it as my weekend car & keep my current camaro as my daily drive cuz by the time i buy the crate & tranny & all that stuff & have it all installed,i might as well just buy a v8 car(please dont say buy a v8 donor)
thats why a "350" wasnt an option on my poll...again alot is riding on Christmas time but im trying to figure out what exactly is next to do

I suggest painting your brake drums it's cheap easy and make them look much better, I'd say for your car silver or black would look good, I painted mine yellow with VHT paint and it still looks like new a year later. Black makes the drums just sorta disappear and silver makes them look dressed up and yellow well yellow just makes them look ugly.

i had to buy new drums when i got my car because the last owner wasn't aware that metal to metal contact was a BAD thing, but they got rusty quick so I painted them and the calipers yellow (big mistake) i'm prolly gonna redo them in silver or charcoal shortly (when i get home from college)
I don't hate you or anything
I didn't plan on painting mine when they were new but they looked so nasty so fast I couldn't stand them

Wow glad you have your head on straight camarogirl. an that MW is posting more often than me to help you if you dont ; ) Painted drums look soooo incredibly bad I cannot express it in words. Painted calipers on the other hand look exquisite, especially in body matching color. MW I just put a new rear in my car and I wish it looked like that, my dad was paying for it and hes a big fan of "stock" parts so..he got the exact same 2.72 drum piece of sh*t that was in there. Ne ways this is incredibly off topic but I found this on my puter and wanted to make MW cry.

Hehe how come everytime I post you respond immediately! jk They make some spray on substances that are supposed to prevent rust on and/or coat metal surfaces. There usually titles as underbody rust prevention spray or something similar, I think they have brush on too. Ive never actually used any of these, although I def need to! Ive heard they work well, but Im not sure if there would be a problem with heat from the drums or not. I know they make high heat resistant paint, but you would probably have to paint them every 6 mon or so. And of course theres always powdercoating (black only please!)

Its from Japan. If you guys want more $$, just get a second job. Do it like me ... car guy by day ... exotic stripper by night. LOL!! Woo! Then you could have CamaroGirl putting all her money into your pants instead of a disc brake rearend!! Woo!!
Just a joke!!
