on my firebird the paint is 15 yrs old....some is original....some is cheap repaint.....almost ALL the clear is gone.....it is dull and faded.....is there any product that can make it shine again....buy a nice buffer possibloy??.....anything i can do until spring when im getting it repainted

 

I'm pretty much in the same boat... I believe ALL of my clear is gone on the hood and on the roof of the car - sides are pretty good still. The sides shine up nice with Meguires Gold Class. The hood... eh... it seems to think wax is only to protect it from rain.
