for about 30 miles, i had a notchback convertible camaro..
me and a friend were at a salvage yard and found a notchback that just arrived.... we paid our $$ for a "camaro hatch"...
but we had come in my camaro... so we had to figure out a way to stuff a entire hatch into a camaro vert... very fun (and slow) drive home.....
the hatch is going on his black GTA though, not on a camaro..

some gta's came factory with a notch back. Hawks the sponsor at the top is currently making a notch back for our cars. Sorry youre not the first one to think of it
one just sold on ebay a little ago for like 1100 dollars....but it was a factory original notch theyre almost impossible to come by.

In the thread about Hawks notchback, there is a picture of the one he is copying on a Camaro. I think it looks pretty good and if I had the money, I would get one- if only to be different. BUt I can't justify the expense when I have so many other things to fix first.

there is nothing more beautiful (cars anyway
)than an originall 88 GTA (I've only seen one....wow). I don't think it would fit very well on a camaro though.

A few days ago I saw a Z28 that had a weird thing in the back, it was for sure convertible, but not as usual. The car was a two seater, because the rear lid went from the rear lights to almost the back of the front seats, and with the vinil roof up, the roof would go smooth from the front winshield, backwards and dropped straight down right after the front seats. The rear lid also had two humps on both sides all the way along it, like the convertible knightrider kitt. The two humps would come out smoothly from the rear lights to the back of each seat.
When I saw it I don't know exactly if I liked it or not. Just thought someone made a good custom work.
Anyone have seen this kinda thing before?

I'd really like to see how that looks in person, sometimes pictures just don't do things like that justice. By the way, Bigal were you doing data logging in front of BJs saturday night?

I think the TA's look awsome with it. But IMO it would look terrible on a maro, and the ones ive seen it does look terrible. Hawks is apparently supposed to be producing the notch fairly soon but..who knows..

They are trying to get enough preorders to do a run. They had enough and most people backed out. I personally think that white car looks great, even though I never really cared for white camaros.
Someone posted this link a while ago. I forget who it is, pictures of several notchback camaro's in there, a couple of them don't look to good, but there are a few nice ones.
