I agree with ChevyKen. Those kits do not look the same. The camaro has the normal widebody kit but that firebird looks like a Trojan edition to me.

yeah.. from any angle that thing is awful...
funny comment about the dually part though... a 14 bolt, some sfc's, no hatch and a 5th wheel on the hump over the gas tank and you'd be set!

Since the origin of the thread starter was Swiss, I bet this car rules in that country.

I like it. Especially the side pipes on a 3.1.

i think its cool for what it is but the 91-92 front bumper makes it look very goofy. It looks more like it should be a road course car like a wide-body porche. Just my thoughts but i like change

I agree, I could see that running a GT series. I don't like the rear fender though, something just looks wierd with that cut.

Man that body kit is UGLY!!!! No offense to anyone on here that likes it, but I think it looks like crap... just my opinion... but I think the the mirrors are the least of that car's problems!
I'm not a big body kit fan most of the time... however, the kit on that Camaro actually doesn't look too bad... I actually kinda like that gray Camaro... but the 'Bird... I don't think you could pay me to drive it!

i dont know about you guys but i'd be the one to burn the hell out of my leg trying to step over those pipes.
those mirrors are breakaway mirrors in europe they are required where there are so many pedestrians. At least I'm pretty sure thats what they are.

The first kit looks like a Greenwood vette kit that was adapted to the pontiac, I did several of these when yhey were popular in the 80's (on vettes however) The grey body kit is a knock off of the 80 trans am Camaro-Firebird stuff, I like the way that looks much better, here's a link from Mosport (scroll down to the bottom to see all of the cars)

But, as Alfred once said to the guy at the corner store when I was on my way over: "No... This black car will be rather difficult to miss." (07/23/89)
Here's another European widebody. The mirrors on the first one ar indeed eurospecs. Mirrors have to be able to bend away over here in case you hit a pedestrian or a cylist. Exeptions are made for used cars being imported.
