Well, there are better ways, such as a line lock.

But I bet he just pushed the brake, and then mashed the gas till the engine overcame the brakes on the rear wheels.

Well, theres not too much brake back there anyway

But yeah, its jiust a simple brakestand, the key is putting enough pressure on the brakes to get the fronts to lock but the rears to be able to overcome like FruityOne said.

Yeah I think it went into 3rd gear, then downshifted back into 2nd when he took off...

Yeah when it shifted into 3rd i was like ****! cause i wanted it to burn more in 2nd and it did downshift when i took off again.

It was kinda the last one with the peanut cam cause i have a 95 LT1 cam sitting in my room.

i'm definitly assuming its an auto... but how did u get it to shift through the gears like that? most of the ones i've seen, the guys just rev the :ig latin::"it-shay" out of their cars in like first or something. did u throw the shifter into first and manually tap it forwards? very curious. thanks

Just leave it in drive and let it go through the gears, as if you were driving down the road. But of course you'll hafta give it more throttle.

Or you could manually shift it.

untill teh tires get sticky enough to bog down the poor 305

it was the greatest thing ever though, massive smoke
