are there any 17" wheels that don't require spacers for cryin out loud and by that I don't mean complete custom wheels. I have about $700 to spend on wheels not wheels and adapters.
I really like those but if I have to use an adapter I guess I will find something else.

I have a set of those in my garage... gonna fix them up during the upcoming break.
Anyway, you need to measure from the back. Put a straight edge (anything straight) across the length of the wheel and measure the space between the bolting surface to the striaght edge you are using. Probably 4.5".
That being said, I would use 4.5" backspacing in the rear, and around 3.5 - 4" of backspacing on the front with either a 7 or 8" wide rim. Some people say 4.5 up front is fine, but mine ALWAYS RUB!!!

These are Pacers but they were made by Centerline for Pacer as shown by the manufacturers stickers on the box when I got them. They were $650 for all four 17 x 9.5 w/ a 5.5" backspacing.
I really need to polish them again.

I really need to polish them again.
