I do agree and think this is a little fishy considering the guy knew his name was "wowcolour" even before he got that name , Maybe next time they should only allow members previously registered to this site, with a minimum of 100 posts. So it's fair. Either way congratulations to "wowcolour" and thanks to Rex for the oppurtunity to win this hood!!

I was wanting to buy an SS hood from him, but now I may have to reconsider. Especially since there are some quality of fitting questions of his hoods and now this.

wow, what a tool. it's sad business men don't have any ethics anymore. word of mouth spreads rather quickly, and the internet just speeds things up.
there go your sales

Rex, do the right thing. Have another "raffle" and have everyone resubmit their entries. And keep it to members that have been registered a minimum of a week before the raffle begins. Sounds like some credibility is on the line here for your business. Guys aren't willing to take a chance with your business now. YOU CAN FIX THIS!

just go somewhere else for now on.
by the way is this the only company that makes the SS hood? cause I've wanted that hood for a while, but if it is, guess I'll just stick with the stock hood.
Alright you guys want to know the truth. I came on today under my "real" name and when i saw that wowcolor won i did a search for who he was. Like most of us i did not recongize the name. When i noticed there was no such member on the board i created the name. I put rex in an interesting position. He was trying to scam us all, and i put him in a position he obviously did not consider. You see rex did something wrong. He tried to gain popularity by claiming to give away free hoods when he had no such initiative. The only thing Rex can do to justify this is saying that he put the wrong results on the board, and pick a "real" winner.

Hmm... interesting, but also could be a good cover up by Rex to save his own ***. All he has to say is "Oops, I pulled a name from a different board."

And the proverbial crap hits the fan for Rex and ASCD.. just as I'll never buy a car from Mark Mitsubishi in scottsdale, I'll never buy an ASCD product unless this comes out really clean really soon.
