Okay guys i posted back awhile ago about changin my paint and whatnot to a silver color, but im not sure what silver to go with. ive done a search and nothing helpful came up, i looked in the memebers rides and didnt see much.

im trying to find the silver color they used on the Skyline in 2fast2furious and i might think about using that same blue they used to do some SS stripes on my car but i cant find anything on the colors. if you guys can post some pics of silver thirdgens weather its a bird or a camaro so that i can get a good verity of silvers. there not all the same.

also is there any Kandied silvers out there? i think that would look pretty sweet.

this pic im attching is kinda like the silver im looking for but the color on the 2fast2furious Skyline is more of the color im tryin to find. thanx guys this would help alot.

you can't candy a silver....silver is one of two main candy base coats. you could pearl a silver depending on how heavy the metallic was. there is a base color out there that isn't really a color technically. it is so bright that it looks silver which would be nice.

i think a bright silver/graphite silver setup would look great! all silver is a little to plain.

Wow, can't believe you want to go with silver over the black. Make sure you do everything else black though. (headlight pockets, stripes, etc.)

 

I like the Sebring silver like in the pic tpiroc posted. Very nice color.

 

well i plan on paintin the headlight pockets and what i want black, everything else will be silver and im still unsure of what color to go with for the SS stripes, those pics posted so far are great. keepm coming.

i know im goin from black to silver, i think its goin to be a good change with what im goin to do, 4in harwood cowl hood, 5 in iroc spoiler, 80-81 z28 fender vents, new fenders, nose, doors maybe, patch the 1/4 panels, new rear bumper cover, patch the floor pans and then Por-15 almost everything i can find, suspention parts are goin to be silver powercoated.

that and theres not many good lookin 3rd gens around my area, i saw one but then that one got messed up shortly after i saw it.

and since the stock color on the car was silver id like to bring it back.

 

Just FYI, Eleanor is DuPont Pepper Gray Metallic. I forgot the name of the black used for the stripes.
