zr-1's or torq thrust 2's

I have been looking at getting some new wheels for my RS and was curious of what you guys think looks better on our cars? I am sort of torn between the two sets. Can't decide

Flip a coin if you like both! No offense but it is your car and you will have to live with it. Do you really want to listen to us? Oh yeah, my vote is TT2s. lol

the question is.....do you want to spend $200+ extra dollars for adapters for the ZR-1s? My vote (btwn. the two) would be ZR-1s. but overall......Cragar S/S!

I like them both, so it depends on the car and the stance in my opinion.

I'd get the TT2s in 17x9.5, have the spokes painted... like the latest CHP issue has in it. Get them painted a grey like the bullit wheels. Looks excellent. :hail:

TT2's and cragar SS are great wheels. The only problem is, that they look good on late 60's and early 70's muscle cars, but not on our cars. Go gor the zr's

Yep, they're both great looking rims, but for our third gens I'd have to go with the ZR1's.Good luck deciding

I really like the Cragar S/S's........I find em VERY sexy, even on a thridgen. All the torq thrust 2's are is just a copy of the cragar s/s's. They are very similar but cheaply made. heard lots of stories about rocks hitting them, and dinting the rims.

I have to disagree...The TT2's look awesome on our cars!!! I have a set of em on my bird, and I wouldn't go with anything else, but like everyone says, its your car and your opinion that matters the most. Go with what you like and makes you happy. Click on the link for some pics of my birdwith TT2's.

Pearl Jamzz I would have to totally disagree. IMHO Crager SS rims are very red-neck looking, and are cheaply made. Everytime I think of Crager SS's I picture a 1980's Chev van with a heart shaped bed in the back and dingly ***** in the window. Yeah man...pimpin'!!

Get the TT II's. They look awesome on thirdgen's. ZR1 rims belong on a Corvette. Just MHO though!

The TT2's are copies of the Cragar SS rims, but the TT2's are much nicer. I can't speak of there quality.

Zr1's are sweet too.

I like the TT2's.

I agree, the S/S's look better on older cars, but i like them for thirdgens. Check out the "older" cars in CHP and Hot Rod.....most of them have TT2's! Maybe its the black and chrome that's got me, but i love them! Also, i think tru muscle cars have 14" and 15" wheels, not 17" and 18" rims. But, that's just my $0.02.

anything that you like that doesn't need an adapter is cool with me!

personally if i were to spend that much money i'd look to a different less common design though.

yeah, but the painted ones look way better. eventually, my dad wants to put them on his car (says that they remind him of growing up but they still have that new school look) i want to put either telstars or drag stars on mine.

what about the y2k vette rims? they are very nice. But between the coices given, i would go with TTII's.......look damn nice and way better than cragars.
but it is your car. If it makes you happy, then that is all that counts. I have the wheel that is in my avatar, in a 15x8, i like them, but some do not, but i am happy.

it was in response to nastys joe dirt comment......so in essence making refernces to trailer trash and ******s. all I said is that camaros and t-tops are the epitimy (sp¿) of everything "jo dirtish". and all cragar do is make it even more "jo dirtish". It adds to the ****** effect.

I dont know how it is in other places, but here most ppl who drive older camaros and even sum new ones do meth.......course then again I live in Utah :-\

ZR1 :hail:

The Torq Thrust's had their days decades ago. IMO the newer Mustangs look like crap with them, and so does any other modern car. The painted wheels always look like they're covered in brake dust.

Besides, the ZR1's can be had cheaper WITH spacers than the TTII's.
