while the ss hood may seem common it is far from common on a thirdgen and the fact that it's at barely any cost to me is more the reason to use it. a cowl hood is too commonly associated with the "iroc" car and while i like cowl hoods on fast 3rdgens i don't want it for my own. if i could keep it stock and light i would but since i have a chance to change and go lighter for very little i plan too.....i can always go back.
