TOP 3
1. sleek, styling, & sexy (no cowl, no blisters, no stripes, no louvers)
2. iroc louvers
3. older model louvers (non-functional)

I always go for stock but if i went aftermarket it would be the 4th gen ss style hood and the cervini's hood, i'm tired of seeing regular cowl hoods and "iroc turbo" hoods on these cars everyone has one around here...
When i get my car painted, i'm getting 3 hoods done a fiberglass flat hood, the factory louvered hood and probably the 4th gen ss hood (nice to have choices)

i am going with either the champion fiberglass products 3" cowl or a harwood 3". my dad has the 4" outlaw hood, and it is great but alittle too much for the street. i am afraid that i would take out curbs and little ladies.

Well I have no choice but to say Cervini....I just ordered one today! My pics will be up in about 2 weeks! And I am replacing the whole front end and having the whole car repainted. I hope it turns out like I am expecting.

What hood do you think comes on the basic z28's from 85-87? A louver hood is a Z28 hood.

hey Aaron I love the blackouts on your headlights. Couple of questions - How exactly are they installed (screw in?), how well does the light shine through at night, and would you reccomend them? Thanks

They install using double sided tape that sticks to the sides of the openings, and to the blackout. Mine kept flying off at high speeds so I superglued (I know, ghetto) them on.
Light shines through ok, but I wouldn't drive without my foglights on. I have a Painless headlight upgrade harness (brings 12v right to the lights and uses the headlight switch as just a switch to turn them on, not a break in the power to them) and Sylvania Cool Blue halogen bulbs.
Recommend them... well, if you have stock headlights, no. If you have upgrade ones, not unless you have foglights. For looks though, I love 'em!!
