T-top trim tricks - got any?

I'm wondering if any of you have come up with a good way to clean up the side trim piece on t-tops - the black trim piece that runs front to back along the t-top just above the door window, usually painted black. Mine are kind of faded and if they were looking nicer it would sure help the appearance of the car as a whole. Any tricks or ideas that you have known to work and look good??

I was also wondering on this too. I was thinking of taping off the glass and using a couple of coats of flat black.

When I bought my car, it had that faded effect on the t-tops. After 3 days of having the car, I decided to fit it. I bought some semi-gloss trim paint from pep boys and taped off the glass and the rubber trim. I gave it a few coats and it looks great, still does after 3 years. One quick note... don't spray too much one during a coat. Once it bubbles, you are kinda ****ed and have to sand down and start over. Just take your time, be patient, and it will look great.

I just use Armor All. Not only does it keep the trim nice and black, but it protects it too. Good luck.
